A day filled with Harry Potter and some Wrock recommendations.

Today (well, technically yesterday, seeing as it's now past midnight) was just one of those days.
It started out fine, then I watched a video on YouTube of someone talking about the release of Deathly Hallows (it was an old video). Then I started to think about last year when I didn't know who lived, didn't know who died, and didn't know who got together in the end, although that part was always going to be how it turned out.
I started to really miss last year and the anticipation of a new book.
Then, I put on some Oliver Boy and the Remembralls (FYI best Wrock band ever). Open At The Close and End Of An Era never fail to make me cry.
I just got so upset, maybe I'm pathetic, but who really cares? Really? Do you care? Probably not.

I wanted to pick up the books and re-read them. But I can't thanks to my stupid reading list and the rules of it (that I created myself and could easily break, but then I'd be a cheater).
So I watched the movie instead, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
It made me smile.

After it was finished, I turned on my laptop to see this.
It really made my day, seeing that review, and knowing that the next movie is going to do the book justice (I hope) and that it'll be worth the wait.
I was angry when they post-poned it until next summer, but now I'm glad, because in the end, the movie will be better, and that's all that counts really.

Anyway, I've rambled on enough about my Harry Potter day, you may think I'm sad, but I needed to write it down.
That sort of thing happens to me about once a week, but I wont bother boring you next week with the same story.

Now on for the Wrock recommendations.
You really don't have to love Harry Potter, or even like it to fall in love with this music genre.

The Beginning.

The beginning of a new blog.
After many failed attempts I've finally got a new blogspot account and I'm determined to make this one stick.
But, of course I fail at this sort of thing, so forgive me if this is a piece of crap. Maybe you should consider giving me some constructive critisism? That would be dandy.
So, on with the blog I guess.

Currently in the life of me:

I am reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It really isn't all I expected it to be. At first it was really slow, then it picked up and I got engrossed in the story. But now it's slow again, and to be honest, I'll be sad if it doesn't get better because of all the positive reviews I read before I bought it that made me desperate to read it. I don't want it to be a waste of my time and money.
I'm still obsessed with the boy wizard, Harry Potter. <3
Maureen Johnson's blog still continues to be one of the most entertaining blogs I've ever read. As does John Green's.
I'm writing a book. Yes, me. I'm doing terrible so far, only have the first chapter written but I suppose that's better than nothing. I'll keep you updated on that.
I'm still powering away on the reading list I started back in April as a somewhat challenge for myself. 28 and 3/4 down, 9 1/4 to go! Keep up with my progress here.

So, I guess that's all for now. A new post coming soon!

P.s. I think everyone should go pre-order Paper Towns by John Green, like, now. It comes out on October 16th, it's not expensive and it promises to be amazing!
Anyone who has read anything else (especially Looking For Alaska) by John Green, will know what I'm talking about, he's an amazing writer.
